偉人漢諾

根據兩位歷史學家(庇卡底)[1] ,在古迦太基有三個領袖都被稱為偉人漢諾,分別為偉人漢諾一世,偉人漢諾二世及偉人漢諾三世。[2]根據另一個歷史學家(沃明),有三個迦太基人名為漢諾也「給予相同的暱稱」:偉人,但他推測,這是一個家庭姓氏暱稱或是一個古希臘及羅馬作家長期不理解的一個用語。沃明只討論其中兩個(漢諾一世和漢諾二世),但他沒有使用「一世」及「二世」來分別。[3] 另一位歷史學家(蘭姿)只提及漢諾一世為偉人漢諾,而偉人漢諾二世他就只稱為「漢諾」。[4]雖然同時有三位人物被稱為偉人漢諾是非常異常。但總之,在古迦太基有許多歷史人物都命名為漢諾。[5]
