CCS Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as " CCS " or " Century Commodities Solution ") is a Chinese commodity supply chain management service provider specializing in operation on coal, oil, agricultural products, renewable energy and other products. CCS established its China headquarters in Beijing and its overseas headquarters in Singapore [1] .

CCS is the Deputy Secretary-general Unit of the Import and Export Committee of the China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association[2] . Till now, CCS has been listed in the Fortune China 500 list for 7 consecutive years since 2017 [3]. It was ranked 276th in the 2023 Fortune China 500 [4] .

Overview

CCS Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. was established in 2000. It was successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in August 2012 (Stock Code: 600180) [5] .

CCS mainly engages in commodity supply chain management business. Within mainland China, CCS mainly provides commodity supply chain management service for its clients in the fields of coal, oil, agricultural products, and renewable energy. Outside mainland China, it operates coal, oil, agricultural products, renewable energy and shipping businesses [6] .

In 2011, CCS established branches in Singapore and Indonesia [7] [8] . In 2013, CCS established its subsidiary REX COMMODITIES PTE.LTD. in Singapore. [9] In the same year, REX COMMODITIES obtained two Singapore GTP (Global Trade Program) licenses [10] . CCS has now established 57 offices in more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam [11] .

In 2021, the subsidiary of CCS, REX COMMODITIES obtained the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification certification [12] . In 2022, REX COMMODITIES owned the "Global Champion - Kelas Usaha Swasta" selected by the Indonesian government [13]. In the same year, REX COMMODITIES was elected as a member of the editorial board of the Indonesia Coal Price Index (ICI) [14] .

As of the end of 2023, CCS had achieved a total coal shipment volume of 48.29 million tons, while its international coal business accounted for 33.09 million tons. The shipment volume showed a year-on-year increase of 29.23% [6] . By the end of 2023, CCS's total oil shipment volume was 1.5 million tons, which bring revenue of nearly US$1 billion, accounting for 16.88% of total revenue [6] .

In addition to operation on commodity supply chain management, CCS has also established joint ventures with local government, state-owned enterprises and financial institutions . CCS has established more than 20 joint ventures till now [15] . In order to meet the demand for grains and oil in the Henan market, CCS carried out industrial investment and cooperated with the Shenqiu County Government of Henan Province to build a soybean processing factory and carry out grains and oil processing business.
