Yellow Emperor calendar（Chinese: 黃帝紀元, 黃帝曆 or 軒轅紀年）is a calendar era starting from Yellow Emperor's birth（Liu Shipei）or enthronement（eg Song Jiaoren, modern tau calendar）. It later became tau calendar used in tauism. It was once promoted near the end of Qing dynasty, but not widely adopted.
