This is a daily pressure chart of North Atlantic Ocean and Europe based on measured values (analysis).

Source: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/europe/europe_forecast.html Intertial-flow conditions are set over area where the pressure is uniform over a certain area. No pressure gradients exist.

In this map a nearly-uniform pressure field covers Central Europe and Russia with pressure differences certainly smaller than 8 mbar over several tens of degrees of latitude and longitude.
