旗幟日

旗幟日或国旗日（英語：Flag Day）是一个纪念旗幟的節日，一般特指作为国家象征的国旗，日期通常是採用有關旗幟的歷史事件。这个节日可能是由議會立法、政府部門發布行政命令或國家元首公告，使之成為公共假日。[1] 旗帜日同样也是升旗日（英语：Flag flying day），除了规定日期之外，可能还会规定升旗地点和悬挂方式，或者以习俗惯例为准。

升旗可以适用两种情况。首先，可能是指根据法律条例或特定传统，必须在某个时间及地点升起国旗，例如：公共机构、学校、纪念碑、大使馆、军营和船只；第二种情况，即是专门制订某个指定日期，用以庆祝或致敬国旗的节日。
