旗幟日

旗幟日或國旗日（英語：Flag Day）是一個紀念旗幟的節日，一般特指作為國家象徵的國旗，日期通常是採用有關旗幟的歷史事件。這個節日可能是由議會立法、政府部門發布行政命令或國家元首公告，使之成為公共假日。[1] 旗幟日同樣也是升旗日（英語：Flag flying day），除了規定日期之外，可能還會規定升旗地點和懸掛方式，或者以習俗慣例為準。

升旗可以適用兩種情況。首先，可能是指根據法律條例或特定傳統，必須在某個時間及地點升起國旗，例如：公共機構、學校、紀念碑、大使館、軍營和船隻；第二種情況，即是專門制訂某個指定日期，用以慶祝或致敬國旗的節日。
