蛙粪霉病

蛙粪霉病(Basidiobolomycosis)是蛙生蛙粪霉造成的感染[4][5],症状多为皮肤上结实并稍带紫色的结节[2][5],一般为无痛,但也可能有痒或痛感[2][5];少数则为感染肠胃道,造成腹痛发烧等症状[2]。蛙生蛙粪霉生长在土壤、腐烂的蔬菜与昆虫等动物体内[1],透过伤口(如虫咬英语Arthropod bites and stings)或饮食感染人类[2][4]。此病可透过医学影像活体组织检查显微镜检查病原培养与组织病理学分析等方式诊断[1],以手术切除病灶或两性霉素B抗真菌药治疗[2][3]

蛙生蛙粪霉可见于世界各地,但蛙粪霉病多见于热带亚热带地区,包括非洲、南美洲、亚洲与美国西南部[2],为一罕见的真菌感染疾病[2],男性与儿童的感染率高于女性[2]。首例病例发生于1956年,为一名皮肤被感染的印尼患者[3]。1964年出现首例肠胃道感染患者[3]。除人类外,也有被感染的纪录[6]
