  • 此作品原订于2011年3月30日于日本发售，因日本发生311大地震而延至2011年4月20日发行。
  • 本系列以滨崎步50张单曲为中心，按照收录混音歌曲类型，共发行了四张混音专辑
    • 《ayu-mi-x 7 -version HOUSE-》主要收录了浩室风格的混音曲版本
    • 《ayu-mi-x 7 -version Acoustic Orchestra-》主要收录了管弦乐器混音的混音曲版本
    • 《ayu-mi-x 7 presents ayu trance 4》主要收录了TRANCE风格的混音曲版本
    • 《ayu-mi-x 7 presents ayu-ro mix 4》主要收录了欧陆舞曲风格的混音曲版本
  • 滨崎步前次发行的混音专辑为2008年的《ayu-mi-x 6》，约间隔三年再度发行。
  • “出神入化trance混音专辑 4”及“欧陆舞曲变身舞池 4”为约睽违7年半未发行的混音作品系列。
  • 全四作品里的混音师，除了“LOVE ~Destiny~”之外，全部都是以往‘ayu-mi-x’系列、‘ayu trance’系列、‘ayu-ro mix’系列所合作过的混音师。
  • 数量限定BOX组合除了包含四张混音专辑外，另外赠送一张Bonus CD (内容为以另四作收录曲目挑选出20首制作而成的non-Stop Mega Mix)，以及‘ayu-mi-x’系列过去作品的LP尺寸封面海报 (全13种)。此外，为了纪念BOX组合发售，另外还贩卖专门存放LP海报的相框 (共三色)。
  • 在“ayumi hamasaki ～POWER of MUSIC～ 2011 A”演唱会周边贩卖会场购买BOX组合，则会再另外赠送‘ayu-mi-x 7’的LP尺寸封面海报 (全5种)。
  • 其中《ayu-mi-x 7 -version HOUSE-》、《ayu-mi-x 7 presents ayu trance 4》、《ayu-mi-x 7 presents ayu-ro mix 4》完整的相关混音版本（非non-stop），于同天在iTunes开放付费下载，共计62首曲目。
