約翰·拉·法爾熱
約翰·拉·法爾熱（John La Farge，1835年3月31日—1910年11月14日），或譯約翰·拉法基，是一位美國畫家、彩色玻璃製作家和作家。

生平

約翰·拉·法爾熱出生於紐約的一個富有的法國家庭，從小就會說英語和法語[1]。後來曾在聖瑪麗山大學[2]、聖約翰學院（今福特漢姆大學）讀書。他本想做一名律師，1856年前往法國巴黎之後改學藝術，老師是托馬·庫蒂爾，後來也曾在紐波特受過威廉·莫里斯·亨特的教導。[3]
他在紐波特開始創業，繪製了許多宗教題材的作品[4]，他曾在格林尼治村開過一個畫室，這個畫室現在是新學院藝術學院的一部分。[5]
