大斑鷸鴕（學名：Apteryx haastii；英語：great spotted kiwi、great grey kiwi）是無翼屬最大的一種鳥類，原產於新西蘭的南島。[4]它生活在高海拔地區，因此受入侵物種影響較小，相對其他幾維鳥來說，數量下降速度不快（但在過去45年中仍下降了43%），整體種群數量接近16,000，大部分都在尼爾遜和南阿爾卑斯山脈一帶。

大斑鷸鴕攻擊性較強，會守衛自己的領土。它們是一種夜行動物，晚上捕食無脊椎動物，也吃植物。它們在六月至三月間繁殖，幼鳥需要75至85天孵化。
特徵
大斑鷸鴕是最大的幾維鳥，雄鳥高45 cm（18吋），雌鳥高50 cm（20吋），喙長9—12厘米（3.5—4.7吋），雄鳥重1.2—2.6公斤（2.6—5.7磅），雌鳥重1.5—3.3公斤（3.3—7.3磅）[2]。大斑鷸鴕在其分佈區內為留鳥，其食性為肉食性，主要食物來源是陸生無脊椎動物。[5]
