中華根瘤菌屬
根瘤菌科的一属细菌
劍菌屬(學名:Ensifer)是根瘤菌目根瘤菌科下的一屬。中華根瘤菌屬(學名:Sinorhizobium)是劍菌屬的同屬異名。中華根瘤菌屬中的草木樨中華根瘤菌(Sinorhizobium meliloti)[4][5]與苜蓿中華根瘤菌(Sinorhizobium medicae)[6]進行過測序。

名稱
該屬曾先後於1982年與1988年被命名為劍菌屬(Ensifer)與中華根瘤菌屬(Sinorhizobium)。根據國際原核微生物系統學委員會(International Committee on Systematics of Prokaryotes,ISCP)的《細菌學法規》(Bacteriological Code)規定,發表時間更早的名稱有優先命名權。[7]由於有人提議將當時劍菌屬的唯一物種附着劍菌(Ensifer adhaerens)併入中華根瘤菌屬,為此ISCP設立了一個專門分委會對此進行評估。最終劍菌屬保留其名稱,並將所有中華根瘤菌屬的物種併入劍菌屬之中。[8][9]雖然如此,在大多學術著作中還是同時延用了這兩個名稱,而中華根瘤菌屬一名則更為常見。
