早年生活
巴特诞生于在一个演艺世家，父亲是印度知名导演马希殊·巴特（Mahesh Bhatt），母亲是女演员索妮·拉桑（Soni Razdan）。她的父亲是古吉拉特人，母亲则有克什米尔及德国血统。[3][4]男演员伊姆兰·哈希米是她的表哥。
演艺事业
1999年，当时只有六岁的巴特在一套电影扮演了一个小角色。2012年，她在卡兰·乔哈（Karan Johar）导演的《年度最佳学生》首次担任女主角，饰演一名富家小姐。此电影得到巨大的商业收益，也使巴特成为新一代宝莱坞的女明星。她也凭此作品获得了2013年印度电影观众奖的最佳女新人提名[5]。
