阿尔杰农·布莱克伍德

阿尔杰农·亨利·布莱克伍德 CBE（Algernon Henry Blackwood 1869年3月14日—1951年12月10日）是一名英国作家，写过许多恐怖小说。S·T·乔希认为他的水平在当时仅次于邓萨尼勋爵[1]。

生平

他出生于英格兰肯特郡射手山，在克雷福德长大[2]。曾就读威灵顿公学。他曾在加拿大当过奶农，还开过六个月旅馆，后来跑去美国纽约，当过记者（包括一份《纽约时报》的工作）、酒保、模特、私人秘书、商人、小提琴教师。[3]

快40岁时，他回到英格兰开始写作，作品曾在广播和电视上播出。出于对超自然事物的兴趣，他参加了鬼魂俱乐部。业余时间，他喜欢到户外散步。他一生未婚。[4]
