威尔逊与自由作家克拉拉·班森(Clara Bensen)开展了旅行实验“不带行李(No Baggage)”他们环游8国的21天之中,他们没有带任何换洗衣物,就在从某个网络交友网站相遇后立刻开始。[34][35][36] 新线影业已经购买了以此拍摄电影的制作权,并聘请了BJ单身日记的编剧Adam Brooks[37]将班森所著、珀修斯图书集团出版的书《不带行李》[38][39][40][41]改编成电影剧本[42]。美国女演员谢琳·伍德利已计划将扮演电影中的班森。[43]

99晚沙发冲浪实验

接续于搬出垃圾箱之后,威尔逊开启一个名为“ATX99晚”的计划,他打算在99个在奥斯汀的不同家庭中各住过一晚,借此近距离而亲密的认识奥斯汀人如何打造他们住家的空间。[6][44]该计划是与作家克拉拉·班森合作。[45]

学术工作
