功能

TrpC5 是七种哺乳动物TRPC (transient receptor potential canonical)蛋白中的一种。 TrpC5 是一种多次穿膜的膜蛋白,且被认为构成了受体活化型的非选择性钙离子通道。其单独存在时即具有活性,但也能与TRPC1 、 TRPC3和TRPC4组成异质多聚体。此外,其也和多种蛋白质相互作用,包括钙调蛋白(CaM)CABP1英语CABP1enkurin英语enkurin 、Na +–H +交换调节因子 ( NHERF )、干扰素诱导的 GTP 结合蛋白 ( MX1 )、RNF24英语RNF24SEC14英语SEC14结构域和血影蛋白重复序列蛋白 1 ( SESTD1英语SESTD1 )。 [1]

TRPC4 和 TRPC5 与汞毒性[4]和神经行为有关。 [5] TRPC5于2021年被发现是牙齿冷感觉系统的组成部分。 [6] 其还被发现参与如氯仿氟烷异丙酚等麻醉剂的作用。 [7]
