II型干擾素
II型干擾素只有干擾素伽瑪(干擾素-γ, Interferon-γ)一個成員。 成熟的干擾素伽瑪蛋白是反平行二聚體,可以與結合到干擾素伽瑪受體(IFNGR),干擾素伽瑪受體由兩個亞基組成。

干擾素伽瑪是由活化T細胞和自然殺傷細胞(NK細胞)產生的。 在輔助T細胞中,I型輔助T細胞(Th1細胞)釋放干擾素伽瑪;II型輔助T細胞(Th2細胞)釋放白血球介素-4 (IL-4) 和白血球介素-13 (IL-13)。
功能
干擾素伽瑪參與調節免疫和炎症反應;
